We do not accept electronics, small appliances, utensils, or pots and pans.
When can I bring items in?
You may bring in up to 25 smaller items any day we are open up to one hour before closing – no appointment necessary. If you have more than 25 items or would like an in-home consult ($20 fee), please call the store to schedule an appointment.
Do furniture items need preapproval?
Yes. We recommend emailing or texting pictures of large furniture pieces for style approval prior to bringing them in.

We still have to inspect items upon arrival at the store before accepting them, but chances are you won’t be loading it up for nothing. Pickup service is available for a fee.
What is the consignment term?
All items are consigned for 90 days. Items cannot be retrieved before the end of the term.
How are my items priced?
We set all of the prices based on our knowledge of retail value, quality of construction, brand, condition, and style. We do appreciate any information you may have about your items, and we strive to get the most we can for you.
Are my items discounted?
Items may be reduced at any time, but are usually discounted on a set schedule of 20% off after 30 days, 30% off after 60 days, and 50% off after 75 days.
When does the consignment term start for my items?
Your consignment term does not start until an item goes on display. The actual consignment start date can be viewed through our online account service.
What percent do I earn on consigned items?
You earn 50% of the selling price after an item sells. If you choose to have us arrange for furniture pickup, you earn 40% of the selling price.
Do you buy any items outright?
We do offer to buy out items that we cannot price for $5 or more. We often also buy out lower-priced costume jewelry. We credit your account for any buy outs instead of giving you cash.
How do I get paid?
Checks are mailed 6 times per year.

If your account balance is less than $20, the balance will continue to accrue until the next check date. You may use your account balance for store purchases at any time.
How do I prepare my items for consignment?
All items should be clean and ready to display. If we must clean your furniture, $5 will be deducted from your account for each cleaned item.
What happens to items that do not sell?
If desired, you can reclaim unsold items five calendar days or less before the consignment expiration date. We do NOT notify you prior to the expiration date. Expired items become property of Claudine’s Consignment so they can be clearanced or donated.
